I discovered several differences between Filipino pronunciation and the pronunciation I learned through the Japanese school system for the same words; however, since both are acceptable according to the dictionary, it isn't an issue. She understands exactly what I want to convey, and I find her explanations clear and very helpful.

She always responds with genuine openness, cheerfulness, and kindness—drawing on her knowledge and experience—which serves as a great source of encouragement for me.

Even with somewhat lengthy responses, she takes thorough notes and reproduces them almost perfectly; listening to this is highly effective for my listening practice. Occasionally, I ask her if a particular expression can be paraphrased in a certain way, allowing us to proceed through a two-way exchange of ideas. Her consistently cheerful and smiling demeanor is truly encouraging for the student.
