I had discussion on Lesson 7 of Goal 4 Quality Education (1) of SDGs Topic conversation with Nythani-san.
First of all, in part of Word to Know, I learned the word of Aim to and illiterate.
I explained to her three main reasons for the growing number of illiterate, War and Conflict, infrastructure (economic situations) and customs and discrimination that disadvantage women and girls.
I also learned that about 61 Mil children cannot go to primary school More than 32 Mil of these children live in sub-Saharan Africa and about 11 Mil of South Asia. And I understood that 53% of the children who do not attend school are girls.
I enjoyed communicating with her.

First of all, in part of Lead-In, I talked with her about the basic definition of Quality Education topic by explaining to her each meaning of 4 pictures.
I also explained to her the current situations of Japan stated in Gender Gap Index issued by World Economic Forum in each year. I told her that the Japan’s rank has been very low, compared with those of other Developed countries, because there has never been a female prime minister, and the number of women in executive and managerial positions is very low compared to other developed countries.
I could also reply to the questions stated in Words to Know part.
